JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri’s lone GOP candidate for attorney general, Senate President Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, will focus on law-and-order issues in his upcoming campaign.
But he also pledged to clean up what he perceives as corruption within the state attorney-general’s office.
Gibbons officially announced his campaign in a press release posted on his campaign website Saturday and in a speech in suburban St. Louis. “All the people of Missouri deserve to be safe in their homes and neighborhoods, their children protected,” Gibbons stated.
