The public tension is becoming palpable now between GOP House back-bencher Dennis Wood and Speaker Rod Jetton as Wood continues to urge Jetton to answer for a controversial legislative change made late in the 2007 session. Wood says Jetton is personally responsible for a provision that will allow developers to avoid oversight of county governments by incorporating small subdivisions into “villages,” claiming:
“Rod Jetton has done some wonderful things for the state of Missouri; I just don’t think this is one of them.”
As the News-Leader makes clear, most believe that the legislation was moved by Jetton at least partially at the behest of businessman Robert Plaster of Lebanon, who attempted to take advantage of the new provision on the very first day it was in effect. Read more…

And you wonder why people believe you are less than straight-up. You pass it off as just letting people know what is being said but you carefully choose whay you want people to know.
Of course neither you nor FiredUp have ever been accused of looking to tell the truth. An attempt at correcting that would have been to point out that Wood passed a law that was later rescinded that affected every county in the state regardin inspection of wells. He fought tooth and nail to see that it didn’t get changed. Now he whines, which is nothing new for him, and complains, again nothing new, when someone else does something he has already done.
Another example would have been your reporting that Jetton didn’t work for the Romney campaign in the first quarter of 2007 despite the unveiled attempt by you and FiredUp, birds of a feather, to say otherwise.

Nope – not interested. Happy with pointing out the fact that you are very selective of those “articles” you choose to let people decide.

Just what I figured – you won’t admit your own biases but are quick to point out others.
The fact is I have no interest in defending Jetton one way or the other. The fact is you aren’t interested in facts.
Tell Sherman or Chris whichever the other “we” is I said hello.
