Since Baghdad Tony has woken up and discovered Missouri’s “Sunshine Law” in his recent posts, we asked him yesterday when he was going to write about Judge Stith and the judicial panel’s recent disregard for the Sunshine law? You know, the violation Judge Stith admitted to in Tuesday’s Senate Rules Committee hearing. Here’s Baghdad’s response in a post today:
“According to Scott Holste, spokesman for Attorney General Jay Nixon, the attorney general’s office has contacted Cole County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Richardson to suggest there are concerns with the Missouri Ethics Commission’s obvious (my word) violation of the Sunshine Law.”
Mr. Messenger, you do a disservice to your readers by at least not giving a semblance of objectivity in your posts about a serious matter. If this is what we can continue to expect from you, the Missouri Political News Service suggests you stick to writing about your own self promotion and “avoiding bear cages.”

With a nickname like Baghdad Tony laid on him, why should Tony respond to you or investigate the allegations of the judicial committee? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe Justice Stith said the committee violated the Sunshine Law, but the candidate list may have made it out to more eyes than it should have. I don’t see that as a Sunshine violation, but if you can point me to a better claim, I’m all eyes.
