Congresswomen JoAnn Emerson was on had and gave a very motivating speech related to the economy and the future of politics. However, she did pause to give a very gracious compliment to the Patriot Guard Riders and their service to our military personnel. Scott Blankenship of Dexter proudly gave a Patriot Guard pin to the Congresswomen for all of her support for the Patriot Guard and the virtues of which they stand. Congresswomen Emerson also gave tribute to the Vietnam Veterans for the service they gave to our country during the Vietnam War conflict.

The greatest thing about the Patriot Guards is that, unlike some narcissistic types who get into politics for personal glory, they give quiet and dedicated service now, as they always have. Congrats Jo Ann for your VFW endorsement. You always stand with the true, modest veterans.
