25% of Democrats reject STL County Executive Charlie Dooley
What does it say about the Dooley campaign, that after an embarrassing victory over a “no name candidate,” the campaign’s first salvo for the fall is a desperate and truth challenged website aimed at his Republican opponent Bill Corrigan. Memo to the Dooley campaign’s strategists: It’s a cliche we know, but voters really are sick and tired of politics as usual and starting out the gate with mudslinging is probably not going to win over a lot of voters. With last night’s disappointing win over perennial candidate Ronald Levy, would’nt it probably be a good idea to shore up your own base first?
It’s also interesting (or desperate) that the Dooley Campaign has decided to attack Mr. Corrigan on ethics, especially in light of all the ethical and legal questions the media have been asking the Dooley Administration lately. Here are just a few of the mini scandals we’ve covered:
