Governor Holds Drunk Driving Summit. Can You Say Hypocrisy?

November 5th, 2009 by mopns · No Comments

Katie Steele-Danner, Gov. Jay Nixon’s Director of Economic Development, has refused to take a breathalyzer tests on two occasions after being stopped by law enforcement for “erratic driving.”

Here are a few quotes from the governor’s remarks at yesterday’s “drunk driving summit.”

“Too often the most dangerous, chronic intoxicated drivers are still allowed to keep driving.”

“It’s a problem that knows no demographic boundaries.” (Seems to be especially acute with Democrat politicians)

“The status quo on DWIs is simply unacceptable.”

“Thinking about the lives we can save should be our guiding principle.”

I saw her at McGurks at lunch getting totally bombed!! Seriously, she must have had six pints of guiness and four irish car bomb shots. She got behind the wheel and almost took out a fire hydrant before she got ‘er corrected!

    Practice makes perfect, right?

Soulard, you’re a libelous bomb thrower. I worked for her and Steve Danner in KC. Katie doesn’t live in St. Louis, would never have any reason to be at McGurk’s, and you can’t prove it since you don’t have pictures or provide a date when this happened. I hope Missouri Political News Service has their libel liability insurance policy paid up-to-date.
