“The Missouri Record has detailed a few reasons why Governor Nixon must act quickly and credibly to end this mess.  So far he has done nothing.  We have argued that Cardetti must go to protect Democratic interests, that as the public becomes more sensitive to political scandals Democrats must address the matter quickly, and that even Cardetti would call on Cardetti to resign.”
