Conveniently silent in the current health care discussion is Congressman Ike Skelton. (Maybe he’s travelling during the recess???) Residents in the 4^th Congressional haven’t been notified of any public events by their Member of Congress during August break.  Is the career politician too busy on junkets to meet with his constituents?  Is he afraid to tell his conservative district that he will vote with Nancy Pelosi on her health care bill?
