From a self described “longtime Capitol observer:”
“Folks inside the Capitol are still buzzing about how increasingly drunk and rowdy Senator Wes Shoemyer has been as the legislative session comes to a close. He was at it again hard last night.
It’s sad that while issues affecting real people are being debated and discussed, Shoemeyer is spending his time acting like a fraternity boy who just moved away from home. Even when he is on the Senate floor, his slurred speech and unsteady swagger are noticeable even to observers in the Senate Gallery.
We all know this is nothing new, but many of us wonder if the people back home in northeast Missouri know about Wes’ wild ways.”

Gotta love a guy who can manage to find the time to get to the bar at 2 PM on the second-to-last day of the session, but can’t find the time to return a phone call.
We need to make sure this information is provided to the voters when Wes runs for reelection next year.
Maybe we’ll get luck. Maybe he’ll be too embarassed to run again. :>)

Geez, this is an embarrassment to himself, his family and the voters of the 18th district.
Go back to Clarence, Wes and save your filing fee next year. I don’t want you representing me. We deserve much better.
