This email was passed on to us from a supporter of Republican St. Louis County Council candidate (4th district) Eugene Dokes. Mr. Dokes has been endorsed by the Missouri chapter of the Republican Leadership Council.

Dear St. Louisans,

As County Council Candidate I recently had a chance to address the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce. I sat at a table only two seats away from my competition, “Mike Omara”.

When given the chance to speak incumbent Mike O’Mara stood and took partial credit for positive changes in St. Louis County within the past eight years while he sat as councilman. Of course he made no mention of the negative changes. However, I did confront him on these issues. For residents (or friends of residents) of North County, it is important to ask your councilman what he plans to do differently during the next 4 years if reelected.

We’ve lately received emails from candidates and tipsters, that showcase the creativity being employed this cycle to raise money. We received an email from the Harris Campaign with this link to a rather amusing video appealing for money. Attorney General Jay Nixon is asking supporters for five dollar donations, and now, we present to you the ultimate recession proof fundraising e-mail letter.
