U.S. Sen. Kit Bond promised lower fuel prices in a speech to the Missouri Farm Bureau Tuesday afternoon.
Those in attendance heard Bond, and Missouri Farm Bureau President Charles Kruse, talk about a key element in the cost of farming.
Bond and Kruse want Missourians to eventually rely less on oil and more on other forms of energy – like wind power, nuclear power, hybrid vehicles and clean coal.

In this Club for Growth video, Sen. Bond is on the Senate floor defending earmarks for bicycle paths. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) offered an amendement opposing such earmarks.
