Sarah Huckabee to join event via conference call

For Immediate Release – January 15, 2008 – Jefferson City, MO – Missourians for Huckabee is hosting an event at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 where elected officials who have endorsed Governor Mike Huckabee for President can meet with state and local media to discuss their endorsements. The event will be at the Associated Industries of Missouri office at 3234 W Truman Blvd in Jefferson City. Sarah Huckabee, Governor Huckabee’s daughter and the campaign’s Field Director will join the event via conference call.

Currently, twenty-seven Missouri elected legislators have endorsed Governor Huckabee, more than double the legislators who have endorsed any other candidate. Endorsements have come from all over the state. The Missourians for Huckabee Leadership Team includes State Senator Delbert Scott, who is Chair of Governor Huckabee’s campaign in Missouri, and State Representatives Scott Lipke, Brian Yates and Mike Sutherland who are acting as Co-Chairs.
