Further proof that Black America’s congressional leadership is clueless – and like the Obama White House – “dysfunctional!”

Now this is a statement Congressional Black caucus leader Emanuel Cleaver made after the president’s joint address to Congress a couple of weeks back:

“We are pleased that he is taking a step in the right direction. We are especially pleased about the synergy between the proposal presented by us and the proposal he submitted to Congress.”

And then over the weekend, he makes this statement to the Miami Herald undercutting Obama:

“If Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House.”

If you’re so pleased with the president’s second stimulus plan, then why are you still sending out what seems like veiled threats to the white House? Strange.
