Rush Limbaugh says on his radio show that liberals will always show you who they fear by the people they attack. Congressman Akin hasn’t even entered the senate race yet and the FiredUp Missouri clowns are already trying to paint him as some homophobe to supposedly help Claire Bear.

Rep. Todd Akin is making news today with his opposition to the recent decision by the Navy to allow its chaplains the freedom to perform gay marriages on Navy bases if they so choose, if that’s allowed by local and state laws.

Akin says such a decision — allowing clergy to perform ceremonies in accordance with local laws and their respective faiths — violates the Defense of Marriage Act.

Guess they forgot in 2004 that 72% of Missouri voters voted for a constitutional amendment to defend marriage between one man and one woman.
