In recent months, with $5.1 million in funding from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, Metro has successfully completed two separate projects: the North Hanley repavement and the intersloping projects in Illinois. This year, Metro is set to begin the Eads Bridge Rehabilitation Project, East Riverfront interlocking, and the Scott Transit Plaza project at Grand MetroLink Station.
According to Steven Engelhardt from the Office of Congressman Lacy Clay, 2,093 jobs have been created in his district, and $766 million allocated in federal investment as a result of ARRA funds. Read more…
Funny, Congressman Clay’s propagandist doesn’t mention that these 2,093 jobs created with ‘stimulus jobs are temporary. Or, that each one of these temporary jobs cost the taxpayer $365, 981.84 a piece!

I think you need to take the cost of materials out the calculation.
