What Chutzpah! This tweet would have been more honest if Rusty would have tweeted this instead:
“Proud my bipartisan bill (which probably helps my brother’s wind farm somehow)
wastingsaving taxpayer $ and energy was signed into law today by @Bill ClintonBarackObama…”
What a great legislative accomplishment to complement the other two bills he’s had signed into law since he’s been in Congress: (1.) The renaming of a post office in Kansas City and (2.) An arterial road in Jefferson County.
On another note. Did you all know that Rusty is a centrist now? Yeah, we didn’t either!

With the Senate headed toward a narrower partisan margin next year, a group of centrist House members is looking to extend its reach to the other chamber in hopes of finding at least some common ground there.
“We’re looking for new members,” said Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-Mo., who is expected to become a co-chairman of the caucus, which now has about 40 House members. “We will have an even more divided Congress [next session].
