Not to be a wet blanket on the re-opening of the Osage River Bridge, but as Mr. Toenjes clearly notes, there won’t be any more borrowed money coming out of Washington for similar make work projects – borrowed money that Governor Nixon said “our kids and grandkids can pay off.” And where was Jay by the way?
In this terrible Obama economy, what’s next for these construction workers? Probably a trip to the unemployment office to apply for their 99 weeks of unemployment benefits.
