  Joe the Plumber is correct. Chuck Purgason is the best choice, with both a backbone AND experience behind him. He is the only one who can beat Carnahan because he has no baggage, just a great voting record.

  Chuck Purgason sponsored the bill responsible for the largest reduction in state government spending in Missouri’s History, saving an estimated $1 billion since the bill became law. Purgason stopped over $500 million in additional state government spending this past session alone, as chairman of the Government Accountability and Oversight Committee.

  Everyone knows Roy Blunt negotiated and voted for the TARP bailout. He voted for Cash for Clunkers twice, and voted for the largest expansion of Medicare since its inception in 1965! He twice led the bailouts for U.S. airlines. He joined Obama to vote for ethanol mandates, which included a $2.23 billion increase in spending. On his watch as Republican Whip and House Majority Leader, the federal government imposed almost $30 billion in new regulatory costs on Americans between 2001 and 2008!
