Not saying that it’s never done, but this is the first time we have ever seen a fundraising invite that lists the particular committees that a congressman sits on. It’s kind of similar to us like listing the options for a new car on the window. We guess just like new car shoppers, a lobbyist should know what they’re paying for!
While we’re writing about Cong. Cleaver and corrupt institutions, let’s talk about the lazy Missouri media and how they are once again unashamedly shilling for Democrats. He spent $1.2 million on salaries, rent and other expenses in 2009. That’s the lowest of the area delegation, and even beneath of $1.3 million minimum range cited on the House Web site.
But a reporter asked which members of Congress spend the most on vehicle expenses, and Cleaver popped up first on the list, with a lease of $2,900 a month. Read more…
And his low office expenses is also the reason Cleaver must have $1,000 a plate lunches for “supporters and friends” right?
