I’m a Democrat, who believes that one must live within one’s means (income), except in an emergency. That includes our government. I believe that we must help those who can’t help themselves, such as, senior citizens, disabled, veterans, children, homeless, mentally ill, working poor and middle class. I also want equality for women.

JOBS
According to an assessment by the National Council for Advanced Manufacturing (NCFAM), “U.S. manufacturers are paying much higher taxes than competitors based in most other developed nations. It (NCFAM) also states, “The United States has the third highest corporate income (behind only Japan and Germany) out of 23 industrialized nations. The U.S. manufacturers will decline from 35 percent to 32 percent over the next five years, but that still puts it above the medium. Manufacturers are bearing a disproportionate share of taxes.

HEALTHCARE REFORM
I vote “NO” on the Reid, Pelosi and President Obama’s HealthCare Reform Legislation of 2009…Abolish Medicaid! It no longer works. It’s a waste of taxpayer’s dollars. It’s also a huge burden to States…Tort reform needs to be done.

EDUCATION
I would get rid of “NO Child Left Behind.” I believe education should be left up to each State. Every State is different and the needs of children will be different. I believe that the Federal government should help fund education, but not mandate how each State and City teaches their children….Private colleges should not receive any Federal or State funding. Students who want to attend these colleges should find their own financing.

IMMIGRATION
I would enforce the immigration laws that are in place now.I would enforce our borders, lock them down and if that means I had to use the National Guard, I would do so…No amnesty…Any employer that hired an illegal alien(s) would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Read more…
