Eighth district congressional candidate Tommy Sowers was on the Bill Press radio program today. We know that only a handful of people listen to liberal talk radio, so if you’re not a political junkie like us, you may have never heard of the ‘progressive’ uber liberal. Here’s a comment he wrote last week on his blog after Scott Brown’s upset win in Massachusetts:
“So, for Democrats, the real message of Massachusetts is not to get softer, but to get tougher. Forget the Republicans. Forget weak-kneed Senate Democrats. Use reconciliation to pass the strongest possible bill. Put the public plan option back in it. And do it as soon as possible. Health care reform is too important for the American people to let it be derailed by a new face from Massachusetts.”
Hmmm. We don’t think those Northeastern views play real well in the heartland Tommy! Are these your views on the healthcare debate as well?

Well, duh. Of course the D’s should ram health care through. Their biggest mistake was giving a flying rats a** what the hell the R’s think.
The R’s tanked the entire country and plunged us into a century long depression….irregardless of who is actually the sitting President.
Stop worrying about what the R’s think, I assure Obama, Nixon, and the rest of the D’s there is NO bi-partisan crap coming their way from the R’s. Why care in the 1st place? THEY lost. Period. The people who agree with the R’s—they lost too. They lost. Who freaking cares what the R’s think? Most Democrats could care less, how ’bout the politicians catch up with the people who elected them with a mandate for real change.
Screw those guys. Democrats need to get some b***s.

The problem is Sowers has no more b***s than our other blue dogs.He won’t take a stand on anything in the district. If you notice, he did not even take a stand on the current health care alternatives on Press. He is just as deceitful as the rest of the blue dogs. We don’t need, and will not get, any more of his kind. If you’re a Democrat, act like one–don’t be afraid of your shadow.
