“The hardest part of this job is to keep your credibility intact” –
Dan Lee, president of Pinnacle Entertainment resigned yesterday, a few days after allegedly threatening a St. Louis County councilman. Mr. Lee apparently realized (voluntarily or involuntarily) that he was now damaged goods and that his continued presence would hurt Pinnacle more than help them. In short, Lee’s credibility was shot!
Now that’s what we need more of in our society and in our politics; a person in a position of responsibility who admits his mistakes and resigns his job for the good of an organization. We’ve seen too many examples lately of staffers who obviously think they are just as important as the boss and who think they’re indispensable. Are you listening Jack?
