Every time I hear her spin, I want to scream. The way we keep money in peoples’ pockets is not to force them to participate in government programs. She is ludicrous. This will not save me anything, it will cost me more!!! About $4000.00 more per year. AND if she is on board with the cap and trade, it will add another $2000.00 on my tax bill.
I do not want ANY FURTHER INTRUSION from the government in my life. I keep calling and calling and calling her office. What doesn’t she and other Democrats understand about this? And this bit of preventitive care…you have to test everyone for diseases that may only affect a few? It might work in a small country like Switzerland, but in a large country like the US? Can you imagine the amount of paperwork in Washington? The government doesn’t run ANY social program well. Why should this be differerent? This is the biggest scam yet.
When you are given a diagnosis for diabetes, then you are fined if YOU don’t keep it under control? I understand costs are high when people don’t take care of themselves, but I am tired of government being my mother and father. My goodness, I want her out. 2012 can’t come fast enough.
