Democrat sources this afternoon are saying that term limited St. Louis County Senator Rita Days, was the “African American leader” who gave Jay the nod to appoint former lawmaker Wayne Goode to the UM Curator’s Board – replacing the sole African American member. This is the first time in nearly 40 years that an African American will not serve on the board.
