Email we recently received. (Thanks Chris & Chris!)

Friends,

The attached picture was taken with my phone at the Wash. U. Campus. This was a “lecture” event sponsored by the Alternative Lifestyle Association. This is what passes for “enlightened” education. Warning these topics are vulgar.

Oh goodness, give me a break. It’s a student group, the administration has no control over what they do and should hardly be held responsible. It has nothing to do with “enlightened education,” it’s just a bunch of kids doing what they want.

I disagree…..the Alternative Life Association is an official Student Union organization. In fact the Washington University Student Union paid to bring in Annie Sprinkle. Any signs posted had to be approved by the Student union. I can’t confirm but there is generally faculty or staff that advise Student Unions. If the administration is not paying attention to what a group is doing “in their name” then they ought to be.
