Tony Messenger on Twitter:

State Rep Pat Yeager (D-District. 96)

“I just can’t bring myself to snap a picture of state Rep. Patricia Yeager of St. Louis County, who has been asleep for almost an hour.

“She’s awake! Ah, the power of Twitter.”

Nothing new. Several years ago, I visited the MO Senate during a major debate over an pro-organized labor bill led by Sen. Jet Banks that had been suspended at 2 AM the night before. Friend Steve Ehlmann was then the Republican Leader in the Democrat-Controlled Senate — other Senators included Peter Kinder, Frank Flotron, Bill Kenny, Sam Graves, Sarah Steelman I watched as then-State Sen. Lacy Clay slept soundly through most of the debate.
It was one of my favorite visits to the Senate. (I wonder if he does the same thing in today’s US House?)
