We’re going to assume that since Missouri Pulse hasn’t been updated in nearly four months, Mr. Hancock has decided to pull the plug on the once promising venture as noted by these bloggers at the time of its inception last year:
Political Fix: Hancock launching new pro-GOP Web site–Missouripulse.com
johncombestblog.com:
“Join with me in welcoming John Hancock to the world of blogging. Hancock’s forthcoming site is the Missouri Republican Party’s latest attempt to counter firedupmissouri.com (the MRP pulled the plug on the insipid “MOGOP Blog” a few weeks ago). Let’s hope Hancock’s site — unlike the others — won’t suck.
About a year ago, rightmissouri.com was terminated, a mere nine months after it was conceived — a late-term abortion we can all endorse. (Thankfully, the Missouri Republican Party still provides a link to the non-existent site. Surprised? Me neither.) (UPDATE: Link to rightmissouri.com removed from MRP website at 7:30 a.m. this morning.)”
Blog KC:
“Fired Up! has been very successful documenting and exposing the foibles of Missouri Republicans, causing them much panty-twisting. So far they have had little success telling their side of the story online. This is their best opportunity yet to give as good as they get.”
CDT Politics Blog:
“State GOP consultant John Hancock has officially launched Missouri Pulse, a blog with a goal of providing Missouri conservatives with tools to “win the war of ideas.”
MPN: (Defunct)
“The blog, run by GOP consultant John Hancock, is intended to serve as a conservative news source for the state. Missouri Pulse replaces the now defunct MRP Blog and RightMissouri.com on the right side of the aisle and supplements the well-known left-leaning blog, Fired Up Missouri.”
