“I do have an online subscription to the Wall Street Journal. The first things I usually check in the morning are corn prices and sports scores.” Congressman Hulshof
We haven’t seen many sports scores in the Wall Street Journal lately, but that gaffe seems to be the least of the Congressman’s worries. With a 20% name recognition outside of his district, the Hulshof campaign is obviously having trouble gaining traction with Republican primary voters. Below is an email we obtained from a Hulshoff supporter imploring other supporters to vote in an unscientific online newspaper poll. The reader who received the original email wrote to us: “Is this is the best Hancock can come up with???? This is a total waste of my time!”

Every candidate in every race I’ve seen since online polls began, has a staffer that might send out an email like this, where have you been? I’ve seen online polls and typed up similar notes to friends encouraging them to vote in the poll.
The real waste of time is reading this posting.
(you know if you are on the Steelman payroll you really should disclose it)

Just read the actual posting on the Tipline, again. They asked him about blogs, he said he had a subscription to the Wall Street Journal Online. He didn’t say he got his scores from the Journal. Read it again, how dumb do you think your readers are?
