In the first of a three-part series, “Missouri Viewpoints” features Presidential candidate Michael Jingozian of Oregon.
Jingozian was in Kansas City for the Heartland Libertarian Conference, where he debated five of his rivals for that nomination. He is the founder and CEO of AngelVision Technologies which has been rated by Inc. magazine as one of the top ten fastest growing companies in Oregon and the 129th fastest growing company in the United States.
He is also the founder of www.resetamerica.com., an organization that reaches out to independent voters and works to mobilize them.
During the interview, Jingozian discusses how he would approach handling the economic struggles America faces right now as well as addressing heath care, the increase in jobless claims this month and the national debt.
Saying “true change comes from outside the system”, Jingozian asks voters to support a candidate like him who comes from a third party. Quoting surveys that show a still-increasing dissatisfaction with the Republicans and Democrats, Jingozian states that the 2008 election is a unique opportunity for the Libertarian Party to bring change to American politics.
