Democrats around the Capitol – and in emails to MOPNS- are questioning the wisdom of Jay Nixon’s latest campaign tactic against his now non-opponent Matt Blunt.

“Slimy weasel scumbag” attorney Chet Pleban, lead counsel in the “independent investigation” of the governor’s office deleted emails, and, part time “objective legal analyst” on St. Louis’ lowest rated morning show, told the press last Friday: “If they would rather have litigation, we will accommodate them.”

Really. Now what would you expect from an attorney who proudly defends a convicted child molester’s “right” to live near children? What’s the old saying in the law profession fellas? Can we say billable hours? MRP spin meister Paul Sloca is probably licking his chops at the opportunity to churn out daily press releases detailing the ongoing fight between a Democratic governor candidate – with his quote machine Pleban – and a lame duck governor waiting to retire to Springfield. Democrats are also questioning the wisdom of having attack dog Pleban spouting off at the mouth, while Jay Nixon still has his own ethical clouds hanging over him.
