Hats off to the Missouri Pulse for throwing egg in the face of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

For those who don’t know, the Post Dispatch scoffed at the Pulse when they broke the news that the lobbyist involved in Sen. Jeff Smith’s debacle was relieved of her duties with Isle of Capri.The old media guards at the Post Dispatch smacked it with the label of a rumor because a blog–of all things– could never break something like that.

Well, turns out the story was true.

Kudos to the Missouri Pulse, job well done.

The only question remaining is: when will Mizz Smith be relieved of his duties in the Senate?
