Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt’s office said Tuesday that it asked Missouri’s Appellate Judicial Commission to provide the law school transcripts of the three Missouri Supreme Court candidates.
The commission met in secret to select the three-member panel, according to a release, and it is unknown whether the law school transcripts of the three were provided by the candidates or what role the documents may have played in their selection.
Judge Nannette Baker, Judge Patricia Breckenridge and Judge Ronald Holliger are nominees to fill a seat on the Supreme Court vacated by Justice Ronnie White, who retired July 6. The names were submitted to Blunt by the Appellate Judicial Commission July 25. Read more…
