I was appointed to the Boone County Board of Adjustment toward the beginning of this year, but this month marked the first meeting of the board this year. There were two cases before the board, one of which I considered a slam-dunk approval and the other generated more discussion that I thought would occur (but then again, this is my first attempt wrangling with zoning regulations, variances, etc.).
