Having a little time before they had to pick up their children from school or daycare, Code Pink and the Peace Network of the Ozarks activists staged a symbolic one hour protest in front of Senator’s McCaskill’s Springfield office Wednesday. We again have to question the strategies of our anti-war protester friends. This protest was scheduled to occur while the office was due to be closed for McCaskill’s “kitchen table talks” across the state. In St. Louis recently, anti-war protesters staged a demonstration at Senator Bond’s office– at precisely the same time the office closed! We guess being anti-war also includes not initiating any type of conflict either. How else do you explain the timing of these protests. Read more…
