Following up on a speech delivered in the immediate aftermath of the loss in last November’s election, Roy Blunt spoke today at the American Heritage Foundation. His focus was on the need to limit government and the role of special interest take in protecting the current size of it.
Roy talks about issues ranging from defense to immigration to government spending and socialized healthcare.
My favorite quote is where Roy mentions “draining the swamp with a teaspoon” while filling it back up with a “fire hose.”
On a side note, I wonder how long it will be before some of the area blogs report on this. It took KY3 around a week to report on Roy’s last speech to the Heratige foundation. The News-Leader didnt report on it at all. Read more…
