Dena Ladd, a Republican activist from Ladue, has been named captain of the new Missouri chapter of the national Republican Leadership Council, a moderate GOP group.
Ladd most recently had been an outreach coordinator for the Missouri Coalition for Lifesaving Cures, the lead advocacy group for last fall’s successful effort to pass Amendment 2, the constitutional amendment protecting in Missouri all forms of stem-cell research allowed under federal law.
