U.S. Rep. John Mica of Florida who once called Kansas City International security “the airport from hell” has softened his stance, KMBC’s Micheal Mahoney reported.

Mica, who is the top Republican on the House Transportation Committee, toured the airport on Tuesday with U.S. Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri.

Mahoney reported that Mica called KCI “the airport from hell” because it had so many vulnerable security points.   Video:
