It seems the the AP’s Kelly Wiese is vying for a job in the Missouri Democrat Party’s press office.
Public outcry results in big talk, no action
By KELLY WIESE
Associated Press WriterJEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A few months ago, Missouri residents were upset and demanding change on problems ranging from losing electricity to a failing school system to being bothered during dinner by political calls.
When the year began, legislative leaders and Gov. Matt Blunt also expressed outrage and promised they would make changes this year.
When the legislative session concluded Friday, none of that rhetoric translated into results.
What happened?
“Special interest has more power at times than citizens’ needs,” groused Sen. Tim Green, D-St. Louis.
Yeah, special interest is something Sen. Green knows a lot about. Don’t worry folks, the article does get more biased. Wiese continued her Democrat press release by only quoting Democrats and one Republican who she quoted snidely.
I hope the MDP’s communication director, Jack Cardetti, is paying Ms. Weise well.

This should be truly embarrassing for the AP. It’s not, of course, but it should be.
