Under the Democrats tax increase plan, anyone making over $250,000 is considered “rich.” Many family farms are sole propiertorships which means their farm income is counted as personal income. Meet the nouveau rich.

Marshall Democrat:

Cleaver spent about two hours at Marshall and Fenner Farms near Malta Bend, touring the registered Angus and row crop farm. During the time there, he rode the combine with one of the farm’s five partners Sam Fenner, as he harvested wheat. Cleaver also rode a tractor baling wheat straw and learned more about the cattle operation. The other partners of the family farm, including Brian Marshall, Oliver Marshall, Todd Marshall and Tom Fenner spent time answering questions and explaining more about the way they use modern technology, including GPS, to save seed and fertilizer costs.
