Video: Sen Crowell: Making Missouri a Right to Work State

“In reshaping our state’s efforts to bring jobs to Missouri, we must make Missouri a Right to Work state, removing the forced union only restriction on employers. A Right to Work law prevents employees from being required to join or financially support a union as a condition of their employment. No one should be denied membership in a union nor should anyone be forced to join a union just to hold a job.”

A good number of the states which don’t have “right to work laws” are attracting jobs.

There is so much misinfo in his video, I don’t know where to start. To all of these rural legislators who support right to work, when was the last time any of your businesses were ever subjected to an organizing campaign. I’ll bet never. If a union loses an election, no one may be represented; if they win one everyone must be represented. So, the union gets the cost of representation only from everyone. Noone is ever forced to join a union.
