Dooley’s Campaign Sends Out Another Morale Boosting Email Blast

Eastbound Highway I-64/40 Evening rush hour traffic (7/27/10)

Many commuters are asking, “Where is the improvement?”

Looks like another tough week for the Dooley campaign. We received the above email (with pictures) yesterday from a tipster alerting us to another campaign email designed to boost the sagging morale of Mr. Dooley’s supporters. You know a campaign is in real trouble when the incumbent has to resort to stealing one of his opponents’s campaign themes. Along with reform and leadership, vision is a theme Mr. Corrigan has been touting heavily on his website and in his commercials.

The Dooley campaign says in the email that “having real vision means seeing what a region can become in 5 or 10 years.” If that’s the case, then why did it take five years for Mr. Dooley to flip flop and finally decide that the county assessor should be elected instead of appointed? Why did it take three years for Mr. Dooley to decide to eliminate the perk of free gas and free cars for his appointed department heads? Something’s not adding up here!
