We were disappointed, but not shocked to see disgraced ex state senator Jeff Smith - now Prisoner 36607-44 - receive a reduction in his court ordered fine.
With no objection from President Obama’s justice department, Judge Jackson reduced Prisoner 36607-044’s fine by a staggering $10,000. This shows that endorsing President Obama pays off…big time!

Amusing, Gloria! It’s gratuitously nasty to comment on apparent special deals given to federal convicts? Oh, for shame! I’m sure neither you nor any of your good friends had a critical word to say when President Bush commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby . . .

I wonder how 36607-044’s new roomies will feel about his special treatment. I’m sure none of them got a 50% reduction from the federeral guidelines or got a $10,000 reduction in their fine.
