Quote of the Day: “It’s Always Good to Keep Your Grass Roots Involved”

April 29th, 2009 by mopns · 1 Comment

Pretty good article in the USA Today on how St. Louis area Democrats are keeping their grassroots movement alive after the election of Barack Obama. MOGOP executive director LLoyd Smith says that the Republicans have similar efforts underway:

“Lloyd Smith, director of the Missouri Republican Party, says the GOP is building its own outreach list. “It’s always good to keep your grass roots involved,” he says.”

Republican pollster Frank Lutz has some good advice in the piece that we hope Republican Party leaders in Jefferson City and Washington heed: “This is life in the 21st century, either you organize and connect with people or you fail.”

the MOGOP has no clue what grassroots means. Sending me emails I delete isn’t outreach.

    It’s just spam.
