Tipline: “Voters not buying the message?”

The same source that alerted us to former state representative Yaphett’ El Amin’s secret consulting deal with Chris “the imposter” Koster, has alerted us to a surprising development in the 5th district senate race between Rep’s. Hubbard and Wright-Jones. Hubbard, who is flush with cash from his early fundraising, recently commissioned a poll that brought back “very disappointing” results.

According to our source, two factors are weighing Hubbard’s numbers and campaign down. One, is Hubbard’s close association with Republicans like Chris Koster, Rod Jetton and Rex Sinquefield. Another factor cited is the overall tone of his campaign.

“The outreach and fundraisers with the hip hop recording communitiy and the recent kiddie porn video on PubDef at the annual Annie Malone parade, turned off a lot of voters-both black and white,” said our source.
