The Missouri Political News Service has learned that “Hold ‘em and Fold ‘em” state Senator Jeff Smith, was invited on a lobbyist sponsored junket to see Paris Hilton at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles on February 24th.

We’re not sure if you need a player’s card to get into the nightclub, but for a guy facing serious charges and desperately trying to put off his trial until summer, this seems like another tremendous lack of judgement by the young senator.
