Tony “Baghad” Messenger laments today on his being shut out AGAIN in the local blogger awards:

“Once again, the Springfield bloggers have deemed me unworthy. I was shut out in the second annual Blogaroni contest. Sadness reigns in the Messenger household.”

As critical as we’ve been towards you Baghdad, we don’t expect you to heed our advice, but here it is anyway.

Lose the fake veneer of objectivity you exhibit in your columns and in your blog posts. The bloggers - and probably the public too - know exactly where you’re coming from. We’d respect you, and your collegaues in the mainstream media a lot more if you would simply be honest about your political leanings. It’s working wonders for Fox!
