We’ve had a great deal of fun at the Speaker’s expense regarding the above picture we use when posting about “Reaper” Jetton.
Though it’s probably because Jetton’s a Republican, Tony Messenger has even questioned Jetton on his recent whereabouts:
The Turner Report reports today that, in between scheduling flyaround trips with formerly(???) disgruntled Jack Jackson to upstage the governor; endorsing Democrats on the House floor; inserting language in a bill to help a contributor; and allegedly using campaign funds to purchase office equipment for your consulting business, “Reaper” Jetton has nearly doubled the amount of lobbyists’ gifts he accepted n 2006:
“During the first 11 months of 2007, Jetton accepted $2,398.85 in lobbyists’ gifts, compared to $1,230.88 for all of 2006. Of the $2,398.85, all but $481.50 came after the legislative session ended in May, the documents indicate.”
Now it makes sense to us how your Chief of Staff - a politician’s most trusted confidante and adviser- can be considering leaving and running for the state senate as a Democrat and you not having a clue. How embarrassing!

Why do you guys post so many negative articles about Jetton? Didn’t you bash Combest for being disloyal against the GOP?
