Presidential Long Shots

Missourians will face a full ballot of presidential contenders in the Feb. 5 primary. Local supporters of long-shot candidates, such as Republican hopeful Ron Paul or Democrat Dennis Kucinich, say “the more, the merrier.”

GOP Paul supporters insist that if Republicans split their votes among John McCain, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani, dark horse Paul can win. Democrats for Kucinich contend that if Democrats split their votes among Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards and more, Kucinich can be the primary victor. Read more…
