Rep. Jim Avery (R- 95) spoke to the St. Louis University College Republicans Tuesday night about being involved in state government, his 2004 – 2005 deployment to Iraq, and his support for the mission in Iraq. Rep. Avery recently made a trip to Washington, D.C. with the Vets for Freedom where he met with Missouri members of Congress asking them to support or continue supporting the mission in Iraq.
