Jefferson City is buzzing with rumors that Governor Matt Blunt has made his choice for the Supreme Court vacancy left by the resignation of Judge Ronnie White this summer.

Very credible Supreme Court sources tell us that Blunt has chosen the lone Republican on the three person list, Judge Patricia Breckenridge. Our sources also tell us an announcement is imminent. It is now only a question of timing.
